We are extremely proud to announce that Scott Domino has accepted a position with Bay Lakes Council in Appleton, Wisconsin as the Director of Support Services. This position oversees four summer camps and the support side of a council that services over 18,000 scouts. This is a huge move, and we all know that Scott is up for the challenge. His new council is very lucky to have him. Congratulations Scott!

We are working on two methods to help recognize Scott for all his accomplishments the past 22 summers with Samoset Council.

First, we are making a memory book for Scott so he can look back and cherish the memories that we all have made with him. If you have a good story, memory, or thank you to add to this book, please upload it here. I would encourage any cool pictures of you, Scott, you and Scott, or camp, in general, to be included in your entry.

Secondly, over the last five years, Scott has been working hard to raise funds for the Business and Technology Center. I think it would be awesome if we all made donations in his name so his name can be featured in the building for one of the classrooms. This is a lofty goal, but it is a physical representation of the legacy that Scott is leaving behind. It is the time of year that we start recruiting summer camp staff for 2021. Applications are due on December 1^st for all staff and Counselor-in-Training positions. The weekend of January 9^th we will be conducing camp staff interviews. Samoset Council made the decision to operate camp and provide a program for Scouts knowing it would financially impact our operations. We were required to make several modifications to our operations to keep everyone safe. We also did not want to reduce the high-quality experience our campers have come to expect.
